I'm Kathy Bowers
I run Fab Face Paint Bury & Bolton
I'm really happy to have joined the Fab Face Paint Team.
Having worked in Liverpool and on the Wirral, Fab Face Paint have now set up in the Bury/ Bolton area.
I have worked in schools for over 20 years and have been involved in stage productions in school and in amateur theatre. It is very rewarding being able to put my artistic skills into creating effects or costumes for a production.
I am looking forward to helping to bring a little bit of magic into your party or special event.

Are you still face painting on Wirral?
Our fantistic fab face painter Ali has had to step down from face painting due to health reasons. Kathy will be able to confirm if she can fulfill any face painting requests for the Wirral/Liverpool area. Please contact her via our contact form.
How many faces can you paint?
We can paint 10-15 faces/arms per hour
Are you DBS checked?
Yes, we hold a full DBS check and have liability insurance.
What sort of face painting can I expect at my party?
We can do a wide range of paintings and we are happy to discuss this with you prior to your event. We have a picture selection system which helps the person being painted to choose something appropriate they would like.
Do face paints stain skin or clothes?
At Fab Face Paint we use approved paints for children’s skin by the EEC. They are best quality cosmetic grade face paint and we use approved suppliers. Most face paints used on children’s skin are water based so will wash off with warm soapy water. If they do go on clothes it will wash off in a washing machine. We recommend face paint is washed off before going to bed!
Do you face paint young children?
We are happy to face paint children over the age of three. We will not paint children who do not want to be painted. We do not recommend painting children or adults who have a facial skin condition.
What Covid protection measures have you taken?
We take the issue of Covid 19 very seriously. All our brushes, sponges and stencils are thoroughly cleaned between each face painted. Kathy has completed a Covid safety course and achieved a GTI Certificate in Covid-19 Infection Protection and Control. Please do ask in advance if you have any concerns in relation to Covid-19 safety.
